Guided tours to the museum’s permanent exhibition Northern Ways
In July, 2.-31.7.2024 daily from Tuesday to Sunday

Northern Ways is the permanent exhibition of the Regional Museum of Lapland in Arktikum. The exhibition tells about the history and nature of the northernmost province of Finland. The exhibition showcases the nature of Lapland and lives of the communities from the prehistoric times till the 20th century. Focus is also given to the northern fauna and different environments. The exhibition is divided into three parts: Rovaniemi, Southern Lapland, and Upper Lapland.

On this guided tour, you will get more familiar with the exhibition’s main themes, such as northern livelihoods, animals and people. You will hear how people have lived and survived in the north in the midst of changing seasons and diverse environments.

Tours are held both in Finnish and in English.
