Arktikum is easy to get to
Arktikum is located on the bank of River Ounasjoki at the intersection of two northbound main roads leading out of the centre of Rovaniemi. A spectacular view of the confluence of two major rivers opens directly from the main corridor of Arktikum.
The hotels of central Rovaniemi are a short (5-15 minutes) walk from Arktikum. The hotels have Arktikum folders, which contain a map with directions to Arktikum. The airport is some 9 kilometres away and the drive there takes about 15 minutes. The train and coach stations are likewise nearby (around 2 km). A local bus stop, from where you can catch a ride to the Arctic Circle, is right next to Arktikum.

Driving Directions
Arktikum is easily accessible, as it is situated alongside northbound highway E4. If you are approaching Rovaniemi from the south, take the E4 past two city-bound turns and drive under the Revontuli shopping centre. Immediately after emerging from the shopping centre tunnel, turn off towards Kittilä (the third turn) and follow the local signs, which will direct you right to Arktikum. If you are driving from the north, take the first turn towards the city centre and follow the local signs directing you to the Arktikum car park.
